The Importance of Consistency in Marketing for Realtors
Real estate agents spend a great deal of time, energy and money trying to attract new clients. Marketing programs can include yard signs, flyers, websites and social media accounts among others. The reality is that the most important factor in the success of any marketing campaign is consistency.
Real estate agents who are the most successful realize that they have to do what it takes to be at the right place at the right time. More than just dropping a notepad on the doorsteps of their neighborhood, brand management requires a steady stream of reminders so that when a prospective client needs an agent, they are the first person they think of.
In marketing this is called “top of mind.” Creating a top of mind campaign can take many forms.

- Weekend door-knocking/hosting garage sales or community events

- Direct mailings or flyer drops
- Blog postings across social media and real estate websites
- Social Media posting daily
The type of marketing which works best for the agent can vary, but to be effective it must be consistent. Marketing is not a one-time event. Successful real estate agents have a comprehensive and consistent marketing plan.
